In line with the “Guidelines on Waste Reduction of Major Events” issued by the Macao SAR Government, the A Guidebook on Calculationof Carbon Emissionsfrom MlCE and Events jointly developed by the Macau Fair & Trade Association and the City University of Hong Kong, and the “Group Standard - Guidelines for the Implementation of Carbon Neutrality in M.I.C.E. Industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” released by the Macau Fair & Trade Association in collaboration with the Guangdong Low-Carbon Development Promotion Association, our training incorporates case studies and process optimisation tools to train teams in the implementation of carbon reduction actions. As the official operating agent for the MICE Events Carbon Emission Calculator, we provide a smart carbon emissions calculation tool designed specifically for the MICE industry. We integrate key emissions sources, such as venue energy consumption, transport, and materials use through a modular data analysis platform to automatically generate carbon footprint reports and offer carbon offsetting recommendations. Our versatile calculator is suitable for various carbon emissions scenarios involving stakeholders such as event venues, exhibitors, and suppliers. It can be used for pre-event carbon forecasting, real-time monitoring during execution, pre-event carbon neutrality, or post-event carbon neutrality certification.
